According to Bob "Yesterday I was lying, today im telling the truth" Arum, both HBO & Showtime want to get this fight/check cashed in next year.

Granted, this is teased every year before both fighters have matches coming up, but the new Floyd/Alex Ariza twist + the decline of both fighters makes me think it might finally happen.

Still an exciting match up. Hopefully, they throw Triple G vs Kid Chocolate on the undercard.

Both networks have seen declines in their cash cows tho, there's gotta be a sense of urgency in each's respective sports department.

If they win their next fight, then they can go for Cotto/Alvarez but after that the block is dry, unless they fight each other.

I hate Mayweather but I would bet on him winning a 12 round decision! TBH I thought Cańelo was the only person that had a chance to beat Mayweather & we saw what happend there!

True, if he fought like he did vs Corrales or Gatti he'd prolly have like 10 more KOs on his ledger by now. I wonder if his past hand problems made him tune down his offense over the years.

Tbh Manny has a great chin, i cant see Mayweather KO'ing him.
