The problem with T Rex

I was watching Aye Verb vs T Rex again, and I realized what T Rex is really missing recently is his old intensity. The way he used to back to back with that level of energy and aggression is what made me a fan, nowadays even if he has bars or whatever he just doesn't bring that level of intensity and it comes off weak to me I guess. Performance is a big part of battle rap, and it's like watching Roc without his on point delivery and aggression. Rex just doesn't have it anymore

he's just trash. his style is outdated. nothing changed about rex, its just that the stuff he was spitting 2-3 years ago was hitting because battle rap wasnt as complicated as it is now. now there's alot of wordplay, schemes, multis in this shit, u cant just spit the same simple shit u spit back in the day when the crowd didnt know all this new shit.

Tay roc mustve been studying rex old shit cause all tay roc has is intensity/performance. Shit works apparently, but the real problem with rex is the hunger. Nigga just looks like he is mad depressed at his life everytime he gets on the stage. This is a shitty job for him where he gets no recognition for his accomplishments, forever in the shadow of a person who honestly is below him and has been on a losing streak for a minute. Nigga needs to forreaal fall back take a year off just become a stage presence at events and chill..

bcause its his prime, same with rex in his prime, he was getting mad love and gas for simple shit. tay roc is mad overrated and gassed, it'll not last too long tho, it just seems like he'll stay mid/top tier forever, no way will be on the level of lux, hollow...ect
