Its a super realistic zombie survival game that started as a mod for some game but is now standalone. Its still in Alpha, but i coped it today and its super dope. Anyone else play this game so we can meet up and ride together?

I been wantin to buy it but I only got 20 on my steam right now. Broke college student problems.

I used to when it was a mod...

I quit when I spent like 2-3 days getting geared up with some friends and making a camp and a hacker enters the room and makes like a warning pop up on everyone's screen then detonated a nuke ruining the whole map.

If the hackers chilled out on the stand alone, I definitely would play again. That game was the perfect example of a survival scenario...but as usual...hackers ruined it for me.

Ya I'm on it. Its annoying sometimes. Get all geared up, than server glitches and lose everything.

played it when it was a mod for ARMA 3, was enjoyable af, if you get time watch some for 'Frankiein1080p' vids on yt, it follows his exploits in the game

as for the realism aspect yeah its pretty nuts, you start on a beach with litterally nothing, and its up to you to find food/water, blood packs, a weapon and ammo and even clothing + rucksacks

also the map is fuckin HUGEEEEEEE, in the 20 mins i spent on it i think i got about a mile in.. (you can find old abandoned vehicles which you can repair/replace parts) heres the map




im waiting for the standalone to stable out a bit then ima cop it, prob need to upgrade my rig tho

im running it on low settings on 5 year old laptop and it runs okay. when its more stable and optimized ill prob play on medium

@Cow42 this is dying light bro... it's a survival zombie game with day & night cycles and the maps are fucking huge and you like customise your weapons and stuff

I havent had any problems with hackers, im assuming since it is a standalone now that it is much more stable in that sense as well as good servers running different kinds of anti hacker programs to prevent cheating.

So far I spent the first hour or so learning control and dying to zombies, then I got on my food and water tip so I didnt die. Eventually I had some gear like food, backpack, and a baseball bat but then two niggas punked me in a hospital and held me at gun point for my loot. I gave em what them wanted and they still capped my ass lmao.
