___ just moved to new house right off campus. Mom and her cleaned it and moved a few bigger things in last weekend, met their neighbors next door. They are new too and gave off really creepy vibe, an older mom and a son who's 40-50 and takes care of her. Son was creepiest, both seem to be home all day. Son offered to help move dresser, mom allowed but soon got crazy vibe and didn't let him inside and just played it off like she wanted it left on porch. They told me about neighbors vibe last week.
___ noticed a tombstone by the neighbor's house that hadn't been there previously. Said "rip (someone)" and mom and son stand by it often
This was all this past weekend. ___ and her roommate moved in yesterday. In the back laundry room they noticed something up on a shelf. It's a painting of a house type thing in the woods and there is a dark figure looking out the window. It says my sister's name at the bottom of the painting.
Her name isn't common and my mom and her said there was nothing in the house at all, not even baking soda etc.
Roommate's dad cleaned shelves two days before and says it wasn't there.
Cops were called, one came out and stayed 5 mins, said previous tenants prob missed the picture and that they'd patrol the area more.
Sister called rental company emergency line to see if they could contact previous tenants and see if they remember the picture. Lady said no and eww I'd throw it away. She's calling again Monday to talk to the main company as they're closed for the weekend
