not the best player to play the game but he certainly changed so many things about how the game is played...hes the reason these guys have to wear suits on the bench now. cause he thugged it out. he went so fuckin hard every second he was out there. he showed out for the city and even tho everyone in the city knew he was the problem and the reason they werent gonna win the big game they still embraced him because u could see that he was giving everything he had out ther. his love for the fans and hios respect of people paying to see him play is something that the game is missing these days. allen iverson will forever be the biggest thorn in the side of philly fans and the citys favorite basketball player of all time. nobody will ever shine or fade like iverson did. i personally feel lucky to hae witnessed his entire career. most of the peoples numbers i see hanging in the rafters are just people ive heard of...iverson i got to watch for almost 15 years and he is easily the most polorizing player in philadelphia history.
