Started this routine last week
got it of stringlifts.com its yh basic 5x5 routine you just add 2.5kg every gym day
It says on website to start with empty bar but couldnt be arsed with that so started light but not just bar
makin this thread just to follow me own progress more than anything
this is the weight iv started on so wont get to my max rep now for a few weeks
just goin try it for 12 weeks an see if i can get stronger
The routine is
Workout A
squat
overhead press
deadlift
workout B
sqaut
bench
bent over row
5x5 3 times a week
coz its only light for me now im doin 5x5
weighted pull ups an dips
at end of every session an 50 press ups
but wen its gets heavy il fuck them off an just stick with the routine
the startin stats are
squat 50kg
bench 60kg
deadlift 60kg
overpress 40kg
bent over row 50kg
Ther nowere near my max but like i say it says start with just bar but id be doin to light for to long
an cos im squatin 3x week il be goin up 7.5 kg i week so it will soon get up to my max
So anyway im in mine bored so has anyone done this roitine b4 i no its a pretty standed one
sould add iv also lost over a stone since beginning off dec just by diet
