Week 1 Preseason Game Preds
Just gonna drop some content in our new home..
Just gonna do winning team > losing team with a little info below
1. Colts > Jets
The colts are by far the better team here, but itll be interesting to see how hakeem nicks does with them, and also how their defense is without mathis. The jets have the battle of qbs (vick seems to be in these a lot) between vick and geno smith.. Imo geno smith is the guy to go to, he needs the experience, vick would only be good here if they had a chance at winning this season.
2. Patriots > Redskins
This is gonna be an interesting game. The pats have a new secondary with their beloved revis & browner, while the skins added djack and andre roberts. Now i think the pats are going to be much better than the skins this season, but id like to see rg3 go deep to djack a few times this game & see how they work together in that sense.
3. Ravens > 49ers
This is the superbowl rematch from 2 years ago, and the first time these teams are seeing eachother since. Kind of excited to see how flacco & steve smith do together, could turn out to be an exciting pair on offense. Meanwhile on the 9ers side, bowman is injured so idk what they are going to do on defense.
4. Bengals > Chiefs
All im going to say about this matchup is andy dalton better be amazing after thst 115mil contract. Also we get to see mccarron for the first time, imo he will eventually be a good qb, but lets see how he does in his first nfl game. Also kind of funny dalton got that big contract & alex smith is still waiting on his.. Lmao
5. Broncos > Chawks (GOTW)
This is going to be a fun game to watch, featuring last years superbowl teams.. I have a feeling peyton manning is going to make an impression after the terrible loss last year. Itll also be interesting to see what the hawks do with harvin being healthy, which means he will be even faster. What are the hawks gonna do with the punting situation now that tates gone too? Imo maybe put harvin back there..
6. Chargers > Cowboys
Lets just be honest, and this is no bias, the cowboys are easily bottom 10 teams this season. Tony romo is coming off of surgery so no one knows if hell be at his best, they lost demarcus ware, it just wont be a good year for them. Im interested to see how rivers does though, i mean hes 33 years old, he doesnt have much time left to win with that team.

7. Falcons > Dolphins
Well, for one the dolphins lost their center mike pouncey, so thats just another strike against their already doomed season. So they picked up satele to take his spot and.. Well hes been pretty bad. They did get bill lazor from the eagles as their offensive coordinator though, so seeing them run a more fast paced offense could be interesting, depending on how tannehill respons to it. Their defensive line is one thing they have going for them with wake & vernon who led the league in sacks last year. The falcons were terrible last season, but i think they made some improvements particularly in their oline by drafting jake matthews. From what ive heard, hes done well in camp, so itll be interesting to see how matt ryan does with a bit more time in the pocket. If atl can stay healthy this season they might be able to grab a wildcard spot.
8. Bills > Panthers
Ej manuel had a very subpar showing against the giants, but i think he will pull it together. Their defense is one of the best, 3 of their 4 dliners made the pro bowl last year so hopefully that carries over into this season. And of course they picked up sammy watkins, he kind of got shit down in the giants game and the only time he managed to get away he was overthrown, but i have faith he will be a playmaker this season. The panthers on the other hand lost gaffney to the pats after he was injured, but they filled that spot with darrin reaves who from what i heard has been suprisingly good, most likely only to be a late-game 3down rb but who knows, be interesting to see what hes got. Now they have godfrey coming off an ankle injury & they moved him to cb, guess well see how that goes.
