Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
The only reason I'd have any doubt at all is TJ has never made 125. I don't think it would be a problem though.
MM definitely wouldn't be able to dominate TJ on the ground and he definitely isn't going to KO TJ. He's in for a long night or a really short one if TJ stops him early.
MM should be begging for this fight. With TJ and Cody able to make 125 it makes the Flyweight more interesting, but if MM is going to be a bitch it's still going to be a stale shit division.
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
w.e if he misses weight thats better bc he is never gonna defend at flyweight so itd be like the pettis holloway fight where only the one who made weight keeps the belt. although i guess that would mean it doesnt count as a defense for MM which would actually be hilarious if he had to fight TJ and didnt get to break the record
MM is def has faster hands then TJ, and TJ has better power.
TJ would be tough to take down but imo if it gets there MM would dominate TJ with his white belt jits
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
And MM knocked Cejudo out in the first round.
There was never a real wrestling exchange. Sure, on paper Cejudo might be a better wrestler, and? Is TJ not bigger and stronger? Is TJ not the better striker to mix in strikes and takedowns? Is TJ not more powerful?
The difference is TJ is a huge step up in competition for MM compared to Joanna's, tbh.
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
I guess the real questions is how big and strong will TJ be at 125. If he can manhandle MM like dom did when they fought at 135 then its gonna be a long night for the mouse, but if not we gon see

MM stuffed two takedowns and got back up instantly after being taken down IIRC, plus he murk'd cejudo in the clinch, a clinch is potential filled position for a wrestler
MM is the better "mixer" TJ does have better striking tho
I agree that TJ would beat MM, im just saying MM does have skills
