You can't claim your inactivity as ground for the termination of your contract

GSP does have a case though. He's not under the new Reebok contract. They either have to honor his old contract within a timely manner or come to a new agreement.
He's obviously not wanting to be in the UFC anymore. That leaves them one option honor his old contract or let him go.

its actually funny because his lawyers are citing the UFCs inactivity as grounds to terminate the contract. they say that he hasn't been offered a fight in a timely manner. Just to be clear he had been in negotiations with the UFC since February and still hadnt received a bout agreement
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
So I heard Dana White said that he doesn't believe that GSP really wants to come back to fight, he thinks he is just saying that and he really doesn't want a fight! I mean we have been lied to before by fighters and Dana & friends, but I strongly agree that GSP wants to come back and Dana isn't letting him.. His style is stale and boring I will admit that, and not just cause I'm canadadian, but he has beaten some of the best I mean best KO artists In the game when he was on top! I find it disappointing we can't get him back in the UFC, I mean if you can't knock him out and he keeps you on your back the whole fight, and takes you down at every moment, it means he is the superior fighter, I hate that shit!!! But that's what it is, he is the best, till someone proves he ain't.. UFC should not have let him go... They have a CONNOR, they have these big name KO artists, bring him back as a ground specialist let him dominate or get KO'D who gives a fuck!! Makes no sense..
