shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line. so if i elevate wont it mean more distance travelled? im go on it for 30 minutes and hope to hit 350 calories burned and 12 km and 8 laps
I just bought an elliptical and paid the company to install it for me. They fucked it up twice and had to go back to the warehouse and get a new one each time. And as soon as they left, the fucking leg piece started making a noise, lmlllll. I should have just built it myself.
@choppa upping the elevation doesn't change the distance travelled - it's just a lot harder work running up a hill. been ages since i used a treadmill but i think there's a similarity with free weights; so the distance vs elevation debate is like the reps vs weight debate. if you want to 'bust' muscles/calories, go for high incline (which is like heavy weight, low reps), if you want to 'tone' your cardio, go for high distance (which is like low weight, high reps)
Naw I had it built first time but then I took it apart long ago cuz it took up 2 much space
I assembled it yesterday and today myself no instructions im a G
rocky lets do cardio together nh
Yo I need to lose weight quick. I hurt my knee from a car accident and shit has been bothering me ever since. I need to lose some weight to off-load the pressure on my joint.
I'm down choppa. Right now I am doing 20 minutes on the "cardio" setting on the machine, so it changes incline and resistance automatically. I am tryna do it twice a day by February. And then might start doing weights.
Anyone ever buy or use a boflex? I want a home gym, but I have always used real weights, and I dunno how good those straps on the bow-flex will be longterm.
Rocky no hate genuine advice, due to how overweight you are, even small changes will make a diff , guarantee weight would drop off u if u ate even 2000 cals a day cuz ur maintenance higher than this, bet anytin u could drop 5lb a week at the start
