I've always wondered why certain battles on different stages with Top Tier battle raps are significantly different. URL is arguable the top league in the battle rap world, with KOTD taking second place and Don't Flop 3rd place. This is the general consensus, so it makes sense that URL get the most views on average.
A regular URL battle get around 100k views after the 1st day of it's release, while a quote on quote main event battle featuring two quote on quote top tier battle get's around 150k - 300k views depending on who and the hype.
A KOTD battle on the other hand gets around 50k views after the 1st day and about 100k if it's a main event battle. Again these numbers are not exact, just my estimates.
Since the core battle rap fans (like the people on the OTBVA forum) basically checking every "relevant" battle. I assume everybody here checks every relevant battle, due the the fact that every release is being posted here and discussed. For example, the current two battles in the sticky section.
Big T vs O red has 260 replies and is viewed about 6000 times.

JC vs 100 bullets has 257 replies and is viewed about 14000 times.http://otbva.com/forum/kotd-wd4-jc-v...tz-t47860.html
Now Big T vs O Red has 155k views in one week and JC vs 100 Bullets about 50k. Ok Big T and O red. Even a Charlie Clips battle against Hollohan has only 150k views in a month and he is one of the most popular battle rappers. Some for DNA vs Charron only 200k in a month.
Now a KOTD battle with arguable two of the most popular battle rappers world wide. Arsonal vs Dizaster has 300k views 6 weeks. It was released on 14 September. While T Rex and Calico, about just as popular as Ars and Diz, there battle does 410k in 4 weeks, release date 30 Sep.
URL Trailers get more views than most of the KOTD/ Don't flop battles. Not the main events one, but for example a Big T vs O Red trailer on URL gets more views than a Cortez battle on KOTD. The key here is purely the STAGE.
Another example. a Big T/ O-red trailer gets about the same views in 5 days than a LOADED LUX announcement on UW in 3 weeks. It will probably surpass the Lux announcement is a couple of days. Now with all the hype surrounding the Lux vs Hollow battle, why does this video has so little views? I dare to bet that if URL dropped the Lux announcement it would have easily got around 50k views in a day.
Now I am not trying to debate about who's the number one league or that URL has superior views and that's why they are better.
I am just wondering where do all those other views come from? If a PG battle with illanoiz vs pirana with 69k gets more views than Cortez vs Tycoon 40k or Real Deal vs Rone 60k who are all more well known than the PG battle rapper. Is it subscription driven? Popularity, the STAGE, Do people don't know about releases on other leagues. What do you guys think?

- Why do URL battles with the same battle rappers get more views than KOTD/ UW/ Don't Flop battles
- Do you think that certain battles on different stages while get more views if it was on URL. For example Tony D vs Charlie Clips, Arsonal vs Dizaster, Lux Trailer UW
