The FRESH COAST is like a juggernaut constantly expanding with every event. The combination of KOTD sponsorship has put the west in a great position to produce great events. B.O.L.A 5 like it's predecessor (B.O.T.B 5) are throwbacks to a era long gone.
This is what makes the fresh coast of today valuable IMO.
The card looks good and offers a lot in terms of diversity.
More than one audience will be tuning in to KOTD's latest endeavor of the Fresh Coast...............
As in life there are GOOD times
There are BAD times
Dead @ the UGLY times all 3 of these victim encountered
1-Poor Danny Meyers probably walked back to south central with 1 shoe on
2-Math Hoffa who not only witnessed a live Dizaster but also got stomped out by Aktive and 2 other people.
3-And Ofcourse Dizaster who despite setting it off, lowered the bar to single white female status (Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)
THE GOOD
-SHOUT OUTS
-Organik,Bishop B, Aspect 1,Lush 1, Malathion and everyone @ KOTD for putting a great 2 day event
-Every battlerapper on the card and in the building.
-The entire FRESH COAST
-AB Soul and the entire TDE Crew
-James Rossevelt and 100 bars magazine.
-Every poster on OTBVA and all the other Battlerap related forums.
-THE TENTATIVE BATTLERAP SCHEDULE.
Kudos to the KOTD staff for initiating a real time schedule of the battles..
Don't know if the battles were on time but I wish all leagues follow suit.
-THE FORGOTTEN DAY 1 PEEPS
Shouts to all the battlerappers who made their presence known during Day 1
-Young B the future coming @ Lush and Aspect 1.
-Shuffle T giving Carter deems a ride in2 his battle with Cutter.
.Carter came prepared with not just jokes but a "I luv Catz" tat lol
-props to Dre Vishis,Yak and Automatic Ray
-Fredo & Ayem should have been on Day 2 with them performances.
-INTRODUCING MARLO & SHUFFLE T
Perfect way to introduce them to the American audience.
Shit they even ended the DF vs KOTD feud with a peace treaty.
GOOD stuff
-"I'II BE THE NERD WHO ENDS UP SHOOTING THE SCHOOL UP"
Illmac outclassed Verb , plain and simple.
Verb did have some bars but they will be quickly forgotten here due 2 Illmac ongoing attacks here.
-SUCCESSFUL REAL VACATION TIME
This time Real Deal had a good reason to leave Pittsburg.
He had a actual opponent waiting for him @ B.O.L.A.5.
Chilla Jones vs Real Deal was def a GOOD look.
-DEAD MAN ON ICE
Props to the DeadMan but "ICE"
-BIGG K's ON DECK
Bigg K keeping his momentum strong was a GOOD look
Shout out to Danny M
-UNRECOGNIZABLE RED
Ored without the dreads did his thing despite the crowd sleeping heavy on his content.
-WHEN BEARDS ATTACK
CausBagDan came out swinging and was a pretty GOOD team.
-DAYLYT's 1ST ROUND VS CLIPS 3RD ROUND

THE BAD
-TRANSFORMING A CHOKE
Ored 2nd round choke , which is always BAD considering Red's projection.
-CAUSTIC DESERVES A RED CARD
Good battle except for the soccer scheme which resulted in Caustic touching both Marlo and Shuffle nuts. If this was Soccer, Caustic would have got the red card
-BEING PUSHED TO REACH?
I like Nitty but pushing him in2 high profile battles will make it harder for people 2 follow him. It's way to early and his style seems to lose the crowd @ times.
-AYE TIME KEEPER
Verb upset with the time hijacked the entire event to state the following.
"THESE ARE NOT THE RULES"

Funny af to see this blog where Arp gives Hoffa permission to head out west.
To bad protection didn't come with permission.
ARP was nowhere to be seen despite being behind Math b4 the drama occurred.
THE UGLY
-CINDERELLA
What does Cinderella and Danny meyers have in common ?
Besides both losing 1 shoe and a dude picking it up.
Nothing
-OVER SHADOWING
The climax of the evening cast a huge shadow over the entire event.
To make matters worst, virtually no shine was given to the ladies of QOTR.
Who had a great event in the form of NHB.
-BEING AKTIVE @ BATTLERAP EVENTS
Fucked up part is Aktive had a great showing during his battle with Lex.
So it was pretty UGLY to see Aktive and company gloat over what Diz did in a 100 bars magazine interview.
ESP considering the fact that Aktive and his brother were the most visible on cam actively jumping Math.
-THE ARAB MATH PROBLEM
So Math been tormenting Diz for years ?
If so why not punch him outside the venue of countless events they attended?
Why not punch him in the house they shared for a reality T.V show?
People shouldn't take comfort speaking the word karma because the UGLY fact is people could have got hurt.
Nothing is more worst than a grown man who can't control his emotions.
My suggestion is never have Diz or Math rap on any stage.
That should send a clear sign to all of the 30-40 year old men who can't control their tempers.
