Please be objective... if you can.
Starting back with the Hollow battle; There was generally a split with more of an edge towards Hollow for the victory. Now of course, the general public will have their opinion whether it's based on favoritism or not. You can't cover that. But it's funny to me that people are now coming to this conclusion that you can't understand Lux AFTER Hollow's angle against him. AND #2 which is notorious now... Lux is Preaching.
Let's get into this "Just Because You Don't Understand Him Doesn't Mean That He's Nice" bandwagon.
My first retort to that alone is... Doesn't the opposite apply too? Hollow said some bullshit. "I load it I Load it I hold it for loaded I open and close it"... You understood that on first listen. Was it hot? That's for you to decide I guess. Okay what about Murda Mook.. He beat Lux NOT because he had hot bars... Lux did NOT bring it. Too much filler and dribble( A lot like his interviews). If you tell me , Sam Sung and he told the whole galaxy was a hot line...just stop. It was SIMPLE.
Secondly, RAPPERS are supposed to masters of metaphors and being creative. NOW, being overly complicated like Lux sometimes will make you less attractive as a rapper... U-God vs Raekwon? Get my reference? BUT being a simple 'simile rapper' like most mainstream rappers isn't what battle is suppose to be about. Is Lux always too complicated or are alot of battle rappers becoming too simple?
Point is... Just as much as Lux seemed complicated in the Mook battle, Mook seemed tooooo simple for my taste. DAYLYT on a serious day...would beat Mook. Besides the point. DO YOU REALLY NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT LUX IS SAYING OR IS IT BECAUSE THESE OTHER BATTLE RAPPERS TOLD YOU THAT YOU DON'T?
Lux Preaching?
Okay.... Lux has had three battles including the Calicoe Battle. Lux preached twice out of nine rounds. First two versus Cal were a lot boasting and arrogance. First two against Hollow less preachy than even the ones against Cal. AGAINST MOOK? PREACH WHERE? The nigga came dressed as a damn 80s pop locking looking mothafucka.
You know where people are getting that preachy vibe from? Lux doesn't seem to be rapping.. He's just talking fast and putting too many words in.. TOO MUCH FILLER.
If you watch the Calicoe battle, in the back of your mind you'll think...damn I miss that Lux.. PROMISE YOU.
To sum all this up.
Murda Mook bars are sub par in comparison to the Clips, Daylyt's and B Magic's of the world.
People beat Lux with ANGLES... Not bars. Hollow's didn't work to me though.. He told you it was okay to be an idiot and you ate it.
Lux really has to STOP with the filler...not in just battles.. EVERYWHERE.
BONUS: CALICOE HAD THE BEST BARS FOR LUX IN COMPARISON TO MOOK AND HOLLOW. Put their rounds next to each other.
