40 bucks for (what was supposed to be) 10 battles is a hell of a deal IMO
No matter the talent present @ RBE's "Blood Sweat and Tiers" event.
This event is structured around the age old concept of the unknown vs the known (RBE's pairings seems odd but it's refreshing (IMO)
It's ironic that this event is essentially a open statement on the tier situation in Battlerap. When pretty much every RBE event follows this event formula.
Every RBE event has a vet vs Up and comer featured on it.
To me this event is overkill with putting the new talent over (which is good tbh)
So I was off to alphabet city in the rain , with a dub of sour and a hangover from the night earlier
This is what I saw................
-Event started around 3pm
I showed up @ 3:30 and missed the opener SMH.
-Turnout was bigger than the "Lift his Soul" event.
The house was packed near the end of the event.
-The event is online for 30 bucks.
-2 advertised battles did not happen @ this event.
Lexx Luthor was originally scheduled to take on Jay Wirth
While according to ARP Melato black vs Viixen didn't happen because "Viixen flew in2 NYC and got lost in the city"
-THE WEIRD SUMMER MADDNESS 4 LEFTOVER EQUATION
(speaking of advertised battles that didn't take place)
Arsonal vs Big Kannon was the original main event on this card.
Somewhere leading up 2 the event it changed to ILL Will vs Big Kannon.
Both of Big Kannon announced opponents (4 this event) were supposed to face off @ SM4.
-Talk from the V.I.P section and the back part of the venue was horrible @ times
-THE LIVE BAR EXAM SEGMENT
(This segment took place after the 3rd battle)
4 random people was chosen out of the crowd to compete for a Pac juice Tee and 2 free drinks.
The 1st question was a 2 part 1 not worth remembering.
The 2nd question was "who exposed Aye Verb for wearing a LOM shirt"
The 3rd was asked by Math which was "who was the 1st top tier battlerapper to take 4 battles in a month" lol

[THE BATTLES]
(I missed the Krazy George vs K walker)
-CASH CAPONE vs SIN CITY
Sin 1st round is basically all named flips.
Cash is up and stumbles slightly b4 going in full JC impersonation mode.
Sin with a pretty entertaining 2nd round and goes over the time limit.
Cash loses the crowd but gets it back in the 2nd. Sin with a aggressive 3rd , while Cash still with his JC voice has a pretty good 3rd
-ROSENBURG RAW vs JAI
Rosenburg is up 1st with a lot of clever angles of Jai being unknown and broke. Jai whole 1st round is a play on the word RO and rose.
Decent 2nd by Rosenburg , Jai still using the Rose flips in the 2nd.
Raw sending shots @ Showoff near the end of his 3rd.
Jai going the personal route in the 3rd.
-GOODZ VS AH DI BOOM (1 round unlimited)
Battle is held up a little due to stage congestion.
Boom wants to go 1st and he starts off great , and comes @ Goodz for not making sense.
Boom addressing lots of topics from the bottle incident to people who thought he was done with battlerap.
Goodz starts off with a a few jokes then warms up (45 seconds in)
He has a entertaining angle of Boom stealing Clips body size and things of that nature.
-SWAVE SEVAH vs SHOWOFF
Showoff wins the toss and picks Swave to go 1st
Swave has a pretty decent 1st , nothing to crazy.
Showoff starts off real low but starts his round over and energy is through the roof (He attacks Swave for shitting the bed during his verb battle)
Swave begins his 2nd with a clever angle about the age of team Homi members. Swave does not get much reaction in the 2nd.
Showoff with a quick pace 2nd round.
Swave giving legal advice in the 3rd.
Showoff gets thrown off by talking from the VIP area but ends the 3rd round talking about his case and gun bars
-JIMZ vs RICH DOLLAZY
The returning Rich Dollaz starts it off on his typical flow (very quick and loud)
Jimz with tons of aggression and clever punches.
Minor shit talking between the 2 after the 1st round.
Jimz telling Rich "your leather too shiny to talk tuff" lmao
So so Marvel scheme to end the 2nd by Rich
Rich with a alright 3rd , but Jimz seem to edge this round as well.
ARP cuts off Jimz to end the battle
-OOOPS vs ORED (2,000 judge battle)
Ooops is up 1st with a solid round considering its money on the line.
Red 1st is good but he ends it flat IMO.
Ooops stumbling and choked twice in the 2nd, he got it back but the round ended dull with him working the cancer angle.
Red doing the most with his usual angles (sport references) and a translation. The lights are turned off for Ooops 3rd , which turns out to be a pro black angle. Red addressing him working security in the 3rd.
He also has a good angle with a bulletproof vest prop to end the 3rd.
(Red wins the judgment 2-1 and the money)
[MAIN EVENT]
-ILL WILL vs BIG KANNON
Will wins the toss and it's on Kannon
Kannon with a great 1st that was heavily slept on.
Will addressing Ars and losing @ Nome (Will is mostly jokes here during the 1st) Kannon keeping up the momentum up in the 2nd , while Will lands the gorilla warfare joke line that has everyone laughing.
Kannon 3rd seem to withstand Will's comedy attacks.
This event while not great was good.
It pushed the up comers to the forefront and for that reason R.B.E deserves it's due.
(Besides 40 bucks was a good price for 8 battles)
