Its sad how the KOTD and GTN always been on some weird shit and act scary/friendly outside the area.
Truth be told, the California rap scene is gay and lame as fuck. So are the battle leagues over there.
We got KOTD/FilmOn turning battle rap into WWE and fucking actors. This sounds like the death of HIPHOP again when NWA broke out and got famous off their ignorance and stupidity. Which only proves NWA was why the music industry turned into culture vultures and money hoarders.
I never like the NWA and its rap scene. Always negativity, made black on black crime a trend, and repetitive. KRsOne (a legendary unique New York MC) was on the movement to stop the violence while NWA was on killing, drugs, being WWE type rappers, women beaters, and jokes to the community.
Now in 2015, I find it funny how URL took over the battle rap platform from letting the West Coast fuck it up like they did the music we once loved in the 80s and 90s. Except KOTD and GTN won't get props because Dizaster is a retarded ass loose cannon who freestyles on an average leveland never get good opponent s, Lush One setting up people getting killed and punched/shot at, David Alki turning battle rap into WWE, Scribble Jam WRC wash ups not realizing this is 2015, and etc.
This is the exact same reason why blacks and NY didn't want outsiders to rap for this exact same reason. Shit is becoming over saturated and boring/corny quick af. Smh
