Any ways to switch app stores?

Quite a few free apps knocking about outside of uk
when i go to dl the standard message comes up "app you have requested not available for your country switch to usa"

changed the regions - still fuck all

do i have to create a US app ID? and how without card/address deets?

anyone done this successfully ?
