weather in chicago was fuckin nuts
a trip downtown on the highway which usually takes me 40 minutes, took 4 hours, my car almost got stuck in traffic at least 4-5 times. had to get out and push it with people honkin at me n shit which made me two hours late for a meeting which thank god still went well
then i drive to work, which was 5 miles from the loop, and that took me almost two hours as the weather got worse. literally took 20 minutes to go from one block to the next.
then my bro was supposed to meet me after work so he could drive home with me, and all of a sudden stops answering his phone when we closed up which is out of character for him. I had to wait an hour in the car before I decided to go home and sleep on it
i flagged down a cop to see if maybe he was in jail or the hospital for whatever reason. Cop tells me there were 0 people jailed or hospitalized tonight in the district, which is fuckin weird considering the weather
on the highway goin back home, there was no traffic and most of the snow had been plowed. this fuckin suv goin 100mph came this close to clipping my car and starts swervin all over the goddamn place just like a clip from liveleak.com, and the car drives STRAIGHT into the barrier. Huge explosion of snow. i stoppedo n the other side and was gonna step out to see if they were okay, and the car starts driving again, swervin all over the goddamn place, causin other cars to swerve and move out of the way.
i was already on edge worrying about my brother, and this shit was just fuckin nuts.
called the emergency line for the first time ever to report something, and the operator was calm and friendly as hell like "well send a dispatcher thank you"
couldnt believe an actual human being was operating that vehicle
get off the phone with th police and my brother calls and tells me hes sleepin at his friends crib and was like "yea my phone was in my jacket my bad why you trippin?"
just made it home safe and feel like i cheated myself out of what could hav been a disastrous night
