You get DZ credits from killing/surviving rogue (killing rogues def give the most) as well as drops from killing AI enemies. Both are viable options for gaining DZ funds with AI giving you around 100 credits a drop whereas killing a rogue depending on their rank gives between 500-2k+ (depends on how much money the rogue has as well as rogue rank)
Any gear bought at DZ vendors goes right into your backpack and doesnt need to be decontaminated so once you buy it its yours for good and can equip it right there and then. The only catch about DZ vendors is they wont sell you the item if your DZ rank is lower than the required rank for the item, and I found the DZ rank to be limiting more than my funds until i got DZ rank 30
